Well, it's Monday again. I don't know about you, but the past week seemed to fly.
It was a busy week for me - Kiddo and I spent a couple days at my parents' house. It was a good visit. We enjoyed smiley face pancakes {affiliate link} for breakfast, took the dog for a walk in the park, visited the farm for some ice cream, and did a major organizing project (while Kiddo napped). Unfortunately, it was a spur-of-the-moment decision and I don't have any pictures of the before. It's amazing what several hours of organizing can do!
Then I came home in time on Thursday to have a very dear friend over for lunch. We tried Ashley's Zucchini Crab Cakes (without any actual crab) and they were delicious!
We rounded out the weekend by preparing our flock of broilers for the freezer and canning tomatoes and green beans. Quite frankly, I'm pooped. :)

DeleteI should write a post on why I meal plan and how I started. It really has helped my days to run more smoothly and blogging about it keeps me accountable. :)
