A Happy Belated Father's Day to all the dads out there, and especially to my dad, father-in-law, and of course my amazing Hubby. I'm beyond blessed to have each of these men in my life!
We had a very low-key Father's Day here. We had Turkey Burgers for lunch (or as Kiddo called them, turkey boogers, which I found hilarious), took our Sunday afternoon naps, had Chinese for dinner, and spent time outside as a family. Hubby and I ended the night doing a little bit of work in the garden and then enjoying some pureed banana "ice cream." It's the second time I made it and it turned out better with the tweaks this weekend. Definitely a make-again recipe. :)

Dustin and I have adopted your once a week salad night. We've done some really yummy grilled chicken salads so far and are loving it. Thanks for the idea! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! We love doing grilled chicken salads in the summer! Especially if you have garden-fresh veggies to go with it. Mostly we've been using salad night to eat up leftover meat, though. :)
DeleteI'm stopping by from Menu Plan Monday. Sounds like you had a wonderful Father's Day.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Berry!
