Menu Plan Monday: 6/16-6/22

A Happy Belated Father's Day to all the dads out there, and especially to my dad, father-in-law, and of course my amazing Hubby. I'm beyond blessed to have each of these men in my life!

We had a very low-key Father's Day here. We had Turkey Burgers for lunch (or as Kiddo called them, turkey boogers, which I found hilarious), took our Sunday afternoon naps, had Chinese for dinner, and spent time outside as a family. Hubby and I ended the night doing a little bit of work in the garden and then enjoying some pureed banana "ice cream." It's the second time I made it and it turned out better with the tweaks this weekend. Definitely a make-again recipe. :)

This Week's Menu: 6/16-6/22/14

Tuesday: Tuna Salad Wraps, Baby Carrots and Sliced Green Pepper

Wednesday: Leftover Chinese Food

Thursday: Grilled Venison Tenderloin, Baked Potato, Green Beans

Friday: Homemade Pizza, Salad

Sunday:  Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken (Freezer Kit), Rice, Broccoli

Last (2) Weeks' Posts:

Posts have slowed down as I do a bit more site maintenance and a lot of prep for future posts. Since I forgot to do a re-cap last week, here are the posts from the last two weeks:

What do you have planned this week?

  1. Dustin and I have adopted your once a week salad night. We've done some really yummy grilled chicken salads so far and are loving it. Thanks for the idea! :)

    1. Awesome! We love doing grilled chicken salads in the summer! Especially if you have garden-fresh veggies to go with it. Mostly we've been using salad night to eat up leftover meat, though. :)

  2. I'm stopping by from Menu Plan Monday. Sounds like you had a wonderful Father's Day.
